Our kids grow up so fast. Don't let these memories slip away.

THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING ME AS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

*IMPORTANT INFO:

PLEASE REFERENCE THE MAP BELOW TO SEE WHERE WE WILL MEET. ALSO, DUE TO THE NATURE OF MINI SESSIONS PLEASE BE SURE TO BE ON TIME. IF YOU ARE LATE, I AM UNABLE TO TAKE LONGER IN YOUR SESSION AS IT WOULD INTERFERE WITH MY FOLLOWING SESSION.

1. Contact Information

Address:

Tibble Fork Resevoir

American Fork Canyon

Google and Apple Maps bring up the location correctly. We will meet in front of the little bridge that is in front of the resevoir leading to the dock.

Please note, there is very little to none reception. Please Screenshot this map for reference and remember where we will meet so you can find me. My Mini Sessions are scheduled on a very tight time frame so please come early so we ensure your time is maximized!

So incredibly excited to work with you!

3. Client Responsibility:

  1. Remaining session fee balance + tax (due on the day of the session), which will be sent through an invoice.
  2. $75 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking, which goes towards the full price of the session (if this hasn’t already been met).
  3. Reading & signing the contract prior to the start of your session. This will be emailed to you sometime before the session at the same time as the invoice, after you've notified Photos By Schye of your chosen location.  If for whatever reason you have not received the contract by the day before your session, please reach out. Also, if you see just the invoice but not the contract, check spam as contracts will sometimes go there.
  4. BE ON TIME! AS MENTIONED ABOVE, DUE TO THE NATURE OF MINI SESSIONS PLEASE BE SURE TO BE ON TIME. IF YOU ARE LATE, I AM UNABLE TO TAKE LONGER IN YOUR SESSION AS IT WOULD INTERFERE WITH MY FOLLOWING SESSION.
  5. Screenshot the map above so you are aware of where to meet me in the parking lot at your designated time slot.
  6. If you have any questions, be sure to reach out to me prior to the date of your mini session. I will be at this location for several hours and may not have reception.
  7. This is a very popular and busy area during this time of year so I would highly recommend showing up a little early to ensure parking and that you are there on time as mentioned above.

4. Miscellaneous Information

  • I do my best to notice things out of place, phones or keys in pockets, keys on belt loops, etc. Even if your phone is in a back pocket, it will show up. Because it is impossible for me to see everything the entire time, I would recommend bringing a bag for cell phones and other items. Also keep in mind that once you take everything out of your pockets, do not put them back in your pockets midway through the session.
  • When there is snow, it doesn’t hurt to bring boots you can walk in and then change out of during the session. This will be especially helpful with shoes without traction.
  • Avoid chewing gum during your session. Just like items in pockets, it is guaranteed to show up in your pictures.
  • Make sure to notify me of any special accommodations or special circumstances in which I need to be aware of.
  • If you are going to use confetti, make sure to purchase biodegradable confetti.

Sessions with Children

Always come to your session with the expectation that your children are not going cooperate how you imagine - especially for the entire session. That is VERY normal and happens with every family. Plus, being a mother myself; I am a huge advocate of capturing the kids exactly how they are playing, looking at me, etc. When it comes down to it, looking at me and smiling at the camera is just a fraction of how I like to go about sessions. So how can you prepare?

  • Bring lots of snacks!
  • Bubbles, or other toys
  • A blanket and jacket/coat (especially during the cold months of the year)
  • Plan on arriving a few minutes early to change your kids into the clothes they will wear. This takes the stress out of any possibility of spills happening while on the drive.
  • Do your best to relax and not stress about this, as you definitely are not the only parent who worries about this. 😉
